Children under 12 years: Take a single dose every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 5 doses in 24 hours. If possible, use weight to determine dosage; otherwise, use age. Do not give more than directed (see Liver Warning).

• Liver Warning: Acetaminophen may cause severe or fatal liver damage if your child takes more than the recommended dose in 24 hours or uses other drugs containing acetaminophen.
• Allergy Alert: Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions.
• Do not use if: Your child is taking any other drug containing acetaminophen or is allergic to acetaminophen. If unsure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if: Your child has liver or kidney disease or takes the blood-thinning drug warfarin.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if: Pain lasts more than 5 days or fever lasts more than 3 days.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or seek medical help immediately. Quick medical attention is critical, even if no symptoms are present.
